Sam And Haleys Epic Downtown Kansas city Wedding

Sam And Haleys Epic Downtown Kansas city Wedding

Haley and Sam got married in Downtown Kansas City on October 12th at The Guild KC. We spent the day belting out Taylor Swift songs, mean mugging to dirty rap music, and laughing our asses off as Haley’s family graced us with a choreographed dance to Africa at the reception.

Kate and Jacks Fresh Air Farm

Kate and Jacks Fresh Air Farm

Jack and Kate got married a couple weeks ago at Fresh Air Farms right outside of Kansas City, MO. It was a night full of donuts, fried mac n cheese balls, and open bars! It was quite the combination for a romantic evening followed by rowdy dancing to Bruno Mars.

Juan + Jordan. Hitched in Dalhonega Georgia

Juan + Jordan. Hitched in Dalhonega Georgia

The wedding was on a stunning piece of land called White Oak Barns in the middle of wine country Georgia. The ceremony was so beautiful, I remember tearing up while I watched Juan's family walk down the isle in tears followed by Jordans father escorting her.

Nate + Kayla. One year later in Amsterdam

Nate + Kayla. One year later in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is magical. Its full of some of the hottest people I have ever seen, some of the best food I have ever ate, and to some of the craziest nights I have ever experienced. Most days I would ride my bike with no destination in mind just to enjoy the scenery and explore.

Kansas City Styled Royal Hawaiian Wedding

Kansas City Styled Royal Hawaiian Wedding

I was so flattered when Megan of Julian Events asked me to be apart of this styled shoot! We were just getting out of a cold front here in Kansas City where I was convinced it was never going to be spring here, so when she sent me a mood board with warm colors and tropical vibes I was all in!

Karl + Britt's Castle Wedding in Dublin

Karl + Britt's Castle Wedding in Dublin

As I am writing this in a cafe an Edinburgh, Scotland I want everyone to know that destination weddings are 100% possible and not as daunting as it seems to plan. They are a way to experience a different culture, bond with family and friends, and party really fucking hard (You're getting married! Why not go big!)

Vanessa + CJ Leavenworth KS Wedding

Vanessa + CJ Leavenworth KS Wedding

I asked my gal pal Britt Crowe to shoot this wedding with me, and together we crushed it. Seriously, I edited over 2,500 photos of Vanessa's wedding to give to her. We were both so stoked on how beautiful it all was... but also more stoked on the fact that Vanessa fed us cake from her bare hands as she cut her cake.

Brad + Dani // Kansas City, Missouri

Brad + Dani // Kansas City, Missouri

I met Brad and Dani last month when they inquired to me about shooting their engagement party at a Horse stable that they own and operate together. They both have such a passion for family that they threw a party so that both Brad and Dani's families could meet and hang out before they tie the knot in France next year. They didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable, and they wanted everyone to feel like family by the time of their wedding celebration. I loved this idea, it was so personal and beautiful to see everyone mingle and meet.

Austin + Haley

Austin + Haley

I met Austin and Haley last year at my friends Mackenzie and Kyle's Wedding in Austin TX. We sat down next to each other at the reception and bonded over skateboarding, living in California, and wedding cakes. They have been together for almost 8 years and are still so obsessed with each other that at points it brings tears to my eyes. Seriously, you should find their wedding video on the internet.. it'll bring actual tears to your eyeballs.

Chris + Sara's Kansas City Wedding

Chris + Sara's Kansas City Wedding

Last Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of shooting one badass rock and roll wedding. In a church that looked just like the one from A Walk to Remember. Sara is a singer songwriter in Kansas City! From what I heard from speeches at her wedding, Sara had giving up on love and marriage long before Chris slide into those Dm's about wanting to play bass for her.

Tyler and Jessica's Wichita Mountains Engagement Session

Tyler and Jessica's Wichita Mountains Engagement Session

Last year Jessica reached out to me in one of the best ways you could reach out to a photographer. Telling me that she loved my work and wanted to immediately book me for her wedding. As a wedding photographer and small business owner I put so much integrity and time into making my work and my business stand out, so when I get people that truly value me and aren't just shopping for the best deal, I just want to virtually give them the biggest hug and tell them thank you for making me feel like all my hard work is paying off.
