Traveling all over the world to shoot weddings will always be one of my favorite things about my life. I feel so myself when I am walking cobblestone and and immersing myself in something that is out of the norm. But recently I have missed being home and I have found solace in the weddings that I have in Kansas City. The venues here are like stunning urban dream lands that are every modern brides dream. Perfect for all types of weather, especially the shit kind where it thunderstorms like no other.
This past Saturday I shot a wedding at The Bride and the Bauer. Brittany and Scott were so simple in how they wanted everything decorated, because the venue is already so beautiful. Imagine a room where modern meets industrial meets boho. You’ll see what I mean when you keep scrolling. If you’re local to Kansas City, Missouri then I am sure you have visited this pretty space before.
The day called for thunderstorms and heavy rain, but that didn’t stop us from capturing Britt and Scott’s gentleness towards each other, the excitement from family and friends, and their epic dance party.
Also, I’m starting a petition called keep Emma back in KC, you can donate to the cause by hiring her to shoot your KC wedding here!
