A Black Tie Wedding at The Abbott in Kansas City

Jackie and Adi had an Epic black tie wedding in Kansas City, MO, major emphasis on the epic! The couple are a big part of the KC foodie scene with having two restaurants here in the city. They knew they had to have good food (obviously) and a big space to party with all of their family and friends. The Abbott right in Downtown KC was the perfect spot!

When it came to planning their wedding, they wanted something that was a little bit more elevated and modern, but keeping things timeless and classic. Both Jackie and Adi were super active in the planning of this wedding, they knew exactly what they wanted and I loved that. The wedding day went by so fast because Caleb and I were having a blast, they had a wild crew that we felt as if we were partying with all day!

The day started with both Jackie and Adi getting ready at The Crossroads Hotel, but keeping things traditional by staying in two separate rooms so that they could save their first look for the aisle. Jackie was a stunner in her strapless wedding gown, and Adi was looking handsome as hell in his tux. I love that this couple opted for a black tie wedding, no one ever has an excuse to get dressed for black tie until they get invited to weddings like these. Then, we headed into the ceremony that was decorated with white roses and a ton of greenery, sticking to the modern but timeless look. Adi cried once he saw Jackie, and I could tell by the look on her face that she was feeling emotional too. The ceremony was beautiful. It was topped off by an epic processional, a hyped up grand entrance, cake cutting, and the most wild dance party I have ever seen at a wedding. Shout out to DJ Ashton Martin for the incredible set that had people break dancing all over the floor!
