Claire and George Kittle's Elegant Backyard Wedding

Claire and George have been together for what feels like forever. Both born and raised Iowa kids, they practically grew up together while attending College at The University of Iowa. Claire and George decided to elope with just family 2 years ago and put the ceremony with friend on hold for a big special celebration in Italy in April 2020. Obviously with COVID happening they had to cancel their wedding. Fast forward to March 2021, Claire and George decided to follow through with celebrating on their original wedding date, but instead having it at their new home in Nashville, Tennessee. They would only invite 32 people and it would be a very relaxed but elegant weekend celebration on their property.

The day was forecasted to rain 100% a week before the wedding. The morning of I woke up to sprinkles, of course this would happen. But Kasey Schaffer Events, the planner, had a plan B with everything being covered. This wedding was going to be stunning no matter what. Then miraculously it stopped raining and the sun came out! It was seriously a miracle. The day was properly celebrated with a ceremony conducted by George’s father Bruce, followed by a huge fiesta leading into the wee hours of the morning. Caleb, my husband, second shot this wedding with me and I cannot get over the amazing job he did. There were so many great photos between the two of us that I delivered the largest gallery I have ever sent off. This blog post almost felt impossible to make with just a few of the best images of the day.

Enjoy xxx
