Emma is amazing! It is such a delicate balance to capture a beautiful photo while simultaneously representing the emotion and love of an event, but a five minute visit to The Bold Americana Instagram illustrates how gifted she is at accomplishing that. Her eye for photography is nothing short of excellent. I'm sure it would be easy to be a very good wedding photographer based off of her talent alone... However, what separates Emma is her work prior to the event. It was abundantly clear that she was invested in my engagement from the moment I first started working with her. She could not have been more supportive throughout the process. Emma took the time to get to know me and my vision for a proposal in a very kind and deliberate way. She navigated some last minute hiccups with grace and aplomb. By the time that she was shooting our proposal, it really felt like having a friend along for the ride, rather than a stranger intruding into our moment. I can't overstate how important that felt at the time, especially for someone who can be a bit wooden in front of a camera. She kept things light and easy, and the pictures turned out more authentic and genuine than I could have imagined. Book Emma! It is like having an awesome guest at your wedding who also takes brilliant photos. I highly recommend!
