An Elevated Kansas City Engagement Session with Editorial Romance

The Allure of Loose Park and Liberty Memorial at Sunset

In the golden hour of a spring sunset, Loose Park emerges as an ethereal destination for those looking to create the most dreamy imagery. The picture-perfect pond, the rose garden, and the lush surrounding greenery create an enchanting space for those needing a killer backdrop for photos. Sometimes I think I need to find a new place to shoot those “Wide Open Spaces” kinda shots for my couples, but Loose Park really is one of my ol’ faithful locations for my engagement sessions. Plus its super close to downtown which gives me the ability to change locations quickly and diversify all my galleries.

Danielle and Jack have been long-distance for over 2 years which is why it was so important to me that I captured those romantic moments that are a reflection of their unique story. We started rolling around in the grass at Loose Park, playing and getting creative with posing before heading over to Liberty Memorial. The sunset casts a warm glow on the limestone of the memorial that gives a certain emotion to my photos that I love. Since they were so romantic together naturally I wanted to place them in a space that was as dreamy as their connection. Danielle went barefoot for the last half of her photos which I loved because it gave off a more whimsical vibe to their more elevated outfits.
